Im back. Its been a while as I have had 6 months of work and life that got in the way and I did not do one thing on the plane. Even flying has been limited, not by life but by fires, smoke, heat, wind, cloud. But I have started back in the new year and looking at completing my lower wings – well as far as I go before I get them mounted on the fuse. Started back fitting the ailerons and hinge brackets, now just finishing with the cove.

I ended up fitting the cove by itself by gluing to the bottom edge of the spar then onto the ribs. At the top I shaped some strips of spruce to give a sharp edge at the joint with the tip of the rib as per the last photo in the last post. Work so far on lower left….
